Weapons
Who doesn't love a good long sword, or a mighty hammer to bash their foes skulls in? No one, that's who! But, don't set your focus on only weapons you've seen in other places, blacksmiths and fletchers all across Everia will be happy to forge you something new and interesting! Admittedly, they lack the technology to forge you a howitzer that fires compressed balls of rabid animals, but will gladly forge you a spear topped with a small anchor, for a price.
Keep in mind that there are more materials, the fated feytimber, the glorious dragon-platinum, and many more. They are just in such little abundance that they aren't for sale in most locations.

Armor
Don't you dare take this to heart.
We all know that the nude warrior brandishing a six foot long sword is going to die pretty easily regardless of how much damage they dish out, we all know that he will drop in just a few hits, so the natural step towards avoidance is to actually have something protecting your vitals, even if only a little. The three choices within Bennick are heavy, medium, and light armors.
Heavy armors, like platemail and full plate offer the most protection out of any of the the three types of armor, and can be crafted in a variety of ways to exemplify protection. However, they are most always bulky and restrictive, keeping front line warriors protected, but are typically avoided in other fighters. They usually weigh an excess of 30 pounds and are almost always crafted out of some kind of metal.
Medium armors, such as leather and chainmail are typically lighter than any kind of heavy armor. This area can get a bit tricky, since there are so many different types of leather in the world and depending on how you cure/tan/forge them, their defensive capabilites can vary, but in general, leather is lighter than chainmail, but chainmail supplies a bit more defense than leather. Medium armor usually weighs around 15 pounds.
Light armor is typically worn by mages and the like. The armor supplies next to no defense, but doesn't hinder any movement and makes very little sound (at most) while moving. Typically, mages and other casters will don themselves in full cloth, but the occasional archer or thief will swap out a few pieces of their full set for speed's sake. Light armor usually weighs less than five pounds and is composed mostly, if not entirely, out of cloth or similar materials.

Misc. Equipment
No adventurer runs around 24/7 without sleeping, eating, or drinking! So naturally they will need to bring a few extra things with them, just in case they aren't near an inn or their home when adventuring. For simplicity's sake, a list won't be provided here, but anything an adventurer may need can typically be found at a general store, inn, or otherwise.
Prices will vary from shop to shop, location to location, so no price list could accurately list all or any items accurately 100% of the time, but being simply misc. items, they won't bankrupt you to keep stocked.

Alright, that wasn't exactly a step but education is important, now onto the next step.
